Her strategic and performance management skills encompass international start-up experience and organizational design including the implementation of the structure, systems and process that get results. Ann has leveraged her expertise to advise both companies and investors regarding early stage venture capital.

Experience

Ann has held key roles in organizations as diverse as large multinational corporations and small start-up ventures. As the finance manager for the Southeast Europe Region based in Vienna, Austria, she helped the Coca-Cola Company expand into Eastern Europe in the early 1990's. Ann managed all budgeting, planning, accounting and financial operations for a 6-country region. After completing her MBA, she returned to the Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta, GA where she was part of a 3-person team which spear-headed the Company's world-wide efforts to manage, share and utilize competitive information. More recently, Ann's focus has been on helping small entrepreneurial ventures by guiding them in all stages of growth from setup structure to hiring key people to raising additional capital.

Community Commitment

Ann is actively involved with the St. Louis Arch Angels where she participates in the pre-screening and due diligence processes to determine the viability of investing in early-stage businesses. She is head of the Young Friends Scholarship Committee for a St. Louis based non-profit agency, raising and providing educational funds to young mothers.

Achievements

  • Produced and presented a report for the CFO of a Fortune 500 company, that completely overhauled Company's capital expenditure department and processes. Redeployed employees and introduced new software system to reduce the entire process from weeks to days.
  • Managed all financial strategies of a 6-country region that experienced 41% compound growth during a period of high investment risk due to unstable governments and currency devaluation. Responsibilities ranged from budgeting, planning, pricing and launching new products.
  • Structured over $4MM of financing and held a board seat for an early stage start-up. Return on investment projected to realize 15X the original investment upon sale of the company.
  • Strategic advisor to a location-based services company that provides GPS-enabled tracking of property and personnel.
