Current Focus and Results
Angela Cobb joined Collaborative Strategies in 2001 to manage search engagements within client organizations. Since then, she has completed more than 90 searches for executive, management, sales, human resources, information technology, financial, engineering, and administrative functions for a wide range of clients. She also provides human resources consultation to clients, focused on recruitment and retention strategies, policies and procedures, performance management, and compensation and bonus systems. Angela also supports strategic planning engagements for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including the St. Louis Zoo, United Way, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater St. Louis. She is an active member of the Human Resources Management Association of Greater St. Louis and the Society of Human Resource Management.
Experience
Angela previously served as a legal search consultant, recruiting and placing more than 50 attorneys and legal professionals in both contract and permanent positions at St. Louis law firms. She also held a senior management position at Fact Finders, Inc., a privately-held market research consulting firm based in St. Louis. In this role, she developed human resource programs and procedures while managing a variety of quantitative and qualitative market research projects.
Community Commitment
Angela is passionate about the long-term sustainability of local not-for-profit organizations, as demonstrated by her involvement in the St. Louis Alliance for Social Entrepreneurship. She is a member of the steering committee and facilitates the peer-to-peer forum groups. She also served as the chair of SSDN's 120th Annual Gala in April 2006 and plans to co-chair the event this year.
